Dr. Aksornchan Chaianong is Research Associate at the Chair of Sustainability Transition Policy and joined the team in November 2023. She applies an interdisciplinary knowledge of technology, economics, and policy to drive her research on promoting the clean energy and sustainability transition. Her research interests include clean energy economics and policies, system integration of renewables, and data analytics in the energy sector.
Before her role at FAU, she was a Research Associate at the Center for Energy and the Environment, Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW) in Switzerland. She holds a PhD in Energy Technology from the Joint Graduate School of Energy and Environment in Bangkok, Thailand, and a master’s degree in Energy and Earth Resources from the University of Texas at Austin, USA.
